The Honey Bee

Another image created in a single day. I did this image for an all day chat with Logical Lust at Beth Wylde's Yahoo Group. Not yet having published any books with LL at that time, I decided to do a cover artwork demo instead. I took the standard male model, Michael 3DAZ3D and worked with him until I had a good render of the posed model with full scenery. Then I took the render into Adoby Photoshop and overlayed some photographs of natural textures until I had this image. The Honey Bee is actually for a short story I wrote recentely, about a Victorian gentleman encountering an exotic male lover in a greenhouse. The red flower, an anthurium, figured prominently in the story. The story was published in Future Perfect later that year.
