A couple of years ago, I attended a science fiction convention and got to do a panel on love, romance, and sex in sci-fi. It was a late-night, adults-only deal. The other writer on the panel was unfamiliar with erotica, and had only planned to discuss romance and love. Of course, with yours truly participating, the panel took off in a whole different direction. The other writer was a bit shocked when he visited my website. He complained to me was that I had too many images of naked men and I needed to include erotic images of naked women in the art gallery. I shrugged at that and made some non-commital noises. Quite frankly, I'm not interested in doing female nudes. Everybody and their uncle does images of naked and nearly naked buxom babes, and I'm bored by it. I have nothing to contribue to the realm of female nudes. Male nudes, on the other hand... well, that's a horse of a different color, if you know what I mean. |
